     Copyright and fair use are the crucial laws that help prevent the theft of other people's ideas. Copyright is when you take someone else's brand, logo, slogan or any other piece of artistic work, and claim it as your own. Fair use is the doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material. In order to use material that has been copyrighted by someone else, you must follow the fair use policies. As a teacher creating your own instructional material, it would be important to copyright the material in order to prevent others from profiting off of your work.        My name is Jackson Greene. I am a fifth-year student at FSU. I have played baseball here for the last 3 years and will be competing in my final season this upcoming spring. I enjoy film and gaming as well as the outdoors. I spend most of my free time either gaming or watching movies.     The only real experience I have using technology in an educational setting is through FSU. When covid closed down universities and schools in 2020, resorting to online learning was the only option. I have taken strictly online courses since covid and have become pretty familiar with how they operate.
