Copyright and fair use are the crucial laws that help prevent the theft of other people's ideas. Copyright is when you take someone else's brand, logo, slogan or any other piece of artistic work, and claim it as your own. Fair use is the doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material. In order to use material that has been copyrighted by someone else, you must follow the fair use policies. As a teacher creating your own instructional material, it would be important to copyright the material in order to prevent others from profiting off of your work. It would also be very easy for students to cheat if your material was on the web for anyone to access.
Technology implementation issues are the problems created by the rising use of technology, that were not an issue before technology was implemented in education. Two of the most prominent issues are academic dishonesty and cyberbullying. The best way to prevent academic dishonesty in an online class is to use programs such as honor lock, which make it very difficult for students to cheat. In an in-person class, cheating is much harder and can be prevented simply by being observant while the students are testing. Cyberbullying on the other hand is much harder to punish. This is due to the anonymity that the internet provides. People can make fake accounts in minutes and use those accounts to bully anonymously. The only method of preventing cyberbullying is to have harsh punishments in place to discourage students from participating.

In future newsletters, I will have a much easier time navigating Canva and transferring my designs over to word. The skills learned during this assignment are very applicable to future careers. One of the most important aspects of communicating information is the presentation. By using the tools I've learned during this course, I am better able to present my ideas in a more comprehensible way.
